1.why choose hebei software institute?

in the culturally historic city of baoding,
china. it takes about one and a half hours
from baoding to beijing, the capital city
of china. the transportation is very convenient.

overseas students’ apartments are provided with excellent
living facilities including: telephone,
tv set, air-conditioner, heating, a computer
with internet-connection, fridge and bathroom.

there are many modern and technologically advanced
multimedia classrooms and laboratories in
our institute. in addition, there are practicing
and training centers for each specific specialty.

compared with universities of the same
kind in beijing, shanghai and other big
cities, the tuition fees and living expenses
in our institute are much lower: 30-40%
of the total expenses can be saved.
2.application
requirements
the successful applicant will:
●
be under the age of 65
●
be in good health
●
have an interest in one or more of the following subjects:
chinese; computer software development &
design; tourism & hotel management,
or any other related courses.
●
be willing to abide by the laws and regulations of
the people’s republic of china as well as
the rules and regulations of hebei software
institute.
3. application procedures
●
application can be carried out individually by correspondence,
collectively as a group or through an association
with any foreign organization wishing to
entrust hebei software institute to hold
a course.
●
bearing an “admission notice of hebei software institute”as
well as the forms required for registration,
applicants may apply for a china (x) visa
or an (f) visa from their local chinese
embassy or consulate.(note: applicants intending
to study for more than half a year should
apply for an (x) visa)
4. registration
●
in order to register
with the international cooperation office
of hebei software institute, applicants
must complete and bear the following forms:
“admission notice ”, “jw202” and a “medical checkup for foreigners”.
●
upon registering,
your passport and visa are to be shown and
tuition and lodging fees paid, at which
point registration formalities will then
be undertaken.
●
students should
contact the international cooperation office
of hebei software institute before arriving
in beijing airport. we will be responsible
for meeting and receiving you at the airport.
if a student foresees that he/she will be
unable to register due to unexpected circumstances,
he/she should make an application to the
international cooperation office beforehand.
otherwise, exceeding the allowed time limit
for registration will be considered as automatically
failing the admission requirements.
5.programs and length of study
(there are two semesters for
an academic year)
the first semester: the end of
february ---the first 10---15 day period
of july.
the second semester: the start
of september ---the last 10---15 day period
of january of next year.
short-term chinese training:
offered to students during the summer and
winter vacations with many different program-lengths
available (2 weeks, 4 weeks, 8 weeks, 12
weeks, etc). the students can make different
programs according to their own interests
and requirements. no matter what the length of the chosen program, students
will benefit from authentic chinese culture
and food, coupled with modern conveniences
and conversational opportunities.
6. board, lodging and medical expenses

we
provide apartments for the overseas students
who study in our institution.
●
the apartments are
safe, hygienic, comfortable and convenient,
each
complete with modern living facilities such as: telephone, tv, air-conditioning,
computer with free internet connection,
fridge and bathroom. off
of a common sitting room, students can eat within and outside
of campus.
●
within
the institute there is a large student dining
hall which serves 3 meals a day or
collective board. however, the apartments
of overseas students do come complete with
kitchen and cooking utensils should students
desire to cook some meals for themselves.
students are also encouraged to eat at any
of the numerous local restaurants, thereby
gaining a chance to practice chinese and
taste authentic chinese food.

notes
students cover all water, electricity
and telephone usage expenses.
overseas students should hand
in all sorts of fees in three days. the
institution cannot refund tuition expenses
for students who give up studying midway
through the course. according to the regulations
of the institution, students who cannot
pay the cost of tuition on time must pay
an overdue fine.
the institution
will check and collect fees according to
the exchange rate at the bank of china on
the same day.
8. leaving the school
students are to leave the school
within 10 days after completing the course
of study, transact the procedure, clear
up all outstanding expenses, and return
any borrowed things. the institution can
arrange a vehicle to transport students
to the airport. students should pay the
expense.
